Africa-Press – Lesotho. Lesotho Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli said in a statement this week that two men between the ages of 46-49 and two women between the ages of 47-56, who are employees of the Ministry of Justice.
Gender, Youth, Sport and Recreation are charged with theft of branch property.
Mopeli pointed out that the staff had been arrested on suspicion of theft of goods from Harapokolana High Attitude Training Center which was intended to be transferred to the branch.
Mopeli testified when a police investigation was launched and the workers were arrested last week.
The appellant said the items found included chairs (couch), refrigerator, washing machine and curtains.
Concluding, Mopeli explained that the police are awaiting an order from the Attorney General to proceed with the case.
