Africa-Press – Lesotho. FIFA President Gianni Infantino arrived in Lesotho yesterday.
His visit to Lesotho forms part of a broad tour to several African countries.
Honouring his visit, His Majesty King Letsie III, Prime Minister Dr Motsoahae Thomas Thabane, and Sports Minister Dr.
Mahali Phamotse welcomed him.
Gianni said he was deeply moved to be in the kingdom of Lesotho where he has witnessed the burning passion Basotho have for football.
He added they are investing a lot and will devote more towards bringing football’s values, which include: respect, team spirit, equality, inclusion and solidarity since they know football plays a great social role besides promoting healthy living.
