The Petroleum Fund Secretariat has announced a downward adjustment in fuel prices, effective Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
According to the Secretariat, the pump price of Petrol 93 has been reduced by 45 lisente per litre, while Petrol 95 has decreased by 50 lisente per litre. Diesel 50 has been adjusted downward by 15 lisente per litre, and the price of illuminating paraffin has dropped by 10 lisente per litre.
The Petroleum Fund has urged all fuel retailers to strictly adhere to the gazetted prices, noting that previous inspections revealed cases where some retailers were charging prices higher than those officially published.
The Secretariat warned that any retailer found selling fuel above the approved prices will face enforcement action in accordance with existing regulations.
