Africa-Press – Lesotho. Vodacom Premier League (VPL) team Liphakoe FC has parted ways with its Assistant Coach Tšepo Hlojeng. This was confirmed by Liphakoe Communications and Marketing Manager (CMM) Tau

Sebatli, who said Hlojeng left the team last week. Sebatli further disclosed in an interview with Informative Sport on Wednesday, that the former coaching assistant has not joined a different team, but has assumed

a new role as Letšeng Diamonds Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Administrator. Hlojeng holds a confederation of African Football (CAF) B Licence Coaching Certificate

which enables him to coach both in the Premier League and A Division. In 2008, he obtained an Executive Masters’ Degree in Sports Organization Management from

the University of Lyon in France through Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) scholarship before obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management with the MANCOSA University in South Africa in 2013.

He also graduated with a Masters’ Degree in Development Studies with the University of Free State (UOFS) in 2019. He joined Liphakoe in 2020 just before the commencement of the Premier League.

He leaves the team in a relegation threatened position since they last managed to celebrate a victory in July last year. They lost most of their matches this

year and only registered two goalless draws. Liphakoe is currently on 12th position with 23 points in the VPL log standing. They were surpassed by CCX and Manonyane.

Manonyane have 25 points and CCX have 26 points, which makes them a step ahead. Liphakoe’s next three matches are against Lifofane on April 3, Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) on April 10 and Sefotha-Fotha on April 16.
