Africa-Press – Lesotho. Inter Milan have set a one-week deadline to wrap up the signing of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman from Atalanta.
The Nerazzurri remain keen on the 27-year-old after identifying him as a key addition to strengthen their attack ahead of the new season. Negotiations with Atalanta are ongoing, but Inter are prepared to switch their focus to alternative targets if no agreement is reached within the next seven days.
Lookman enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, continuing his rise in Serie A and attracting attention from several top European clubs. Inter hope their offer and Champions League football will be enough to tempt the forward to make the switch to the San Siro.
