Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Inter- Parliamentary Union, in collaboration with Parliament of Lesotho and Southern Africa Development PF (SADCPF) hosted a two-day workshop for Parliamentarians at Maseru National Assembly to address issues such as Sexual Reproduction Health and Rights as well as Climate Change.
Legislation informed by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will also be scrutinized so its aligned with regional policies, therefore it would also be beneficial for them to focus and address climate change issue as it affects and impacts the environment in Southern Africa negatively looking at the extreme weather events like wildfires, storms and droughts that have recently affected the nations, habitats and large scale farming.
