The Lesotho government and the U.S. Embassy in Maseru have renewed their partnership to enhance the American Corner, a hub for learning and innovation. Established in 2016, the American Corner aims to support the youth of Lesotho by providing access to internet resources, library materials, and various educational programs.

The Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr. Kanono Ramashamole signed a renewed partnership between the Lesotho Government and U. S. Embassy Maseru to Keep the American Corner a hub for learning and Innovation.
The American Corner based at State Library in Maseru district was first opened in 2016 as part of US Embassy’s outreach programme to support Lesotho youth by providing them with internet, library resources and programming.
The American Corner in Lesotho was inaugurated in 2016 as part of a broader initiative by the U.S. Embassy to foster educational opportunities and innovation among the youth. This partnership has been pivotal in providing resources and support to young people, enabling them to access information and develop skills necessary for their future.
