Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho in Brussels, Belgium has held a strategic meeting with BOSAQ Water Technology Company as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen investment and innovation in the country’s water sector.
BOSAQ was represented by its Sales Representative, Mr. Anthony Tarigan, while the Embassy delegation was led by Lesotho’s Ambassador to Belgium, H.E. Mrs. Mantoetsi Mohatonyane.
The discussions centred on BOSAQ’s potential investment and collaboration opportunities in Lesotho, with the company presenting its sustainable and decentralized water purification technologies.
BOSAQ highlighted the suitability of its solutions for improving water access, quality, and management in both rural and urban communities.
For its part, the Embassy outlined Lesotho’s abundant water resources along with the persistent challenges related to distribution, purification, and infrastructure.
The two parties identified several possible areas of cooperation, including the deployment of purification systems, enhancement of water quality monitoring, development of climate-resilient water management solutions, and capacity-building support for local institutions.
The meeting concluded with both sides expressing strong interest in pursuing further technical discussions to explore feasible projects aligned with Lesotho’s national water priorities.
