Africa-Press – Lesotho. Following courtesy call on the Prime Minister where instead they met with Chief of Staff Mr. Sofonea Shale, Trans-African Tourism and Unity Campaign team met with Minister of Tourism Mr. Motlatsi Maqelepo on Tuesday.
The Trans-African Tourism and Unity Campaign, is a government of Ghana backed initiative aimed at uniting Africa through a visa-free policy for nationals traveling through the continent.
The campaign is traveling 39 African countries over 163 days with Lesotho being the 13th to visit so far to advocate for seamless travel, tourism and economic integration, engaging governments, traditional leaders and citizens in the vision for a borderless Africa.
The team is in the country to lobby for the government’s by-in, commitment and endorsement for visa-free Africa.
