Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Lesotho Senior National team, Likuena, will play two international friendly matches against Malawi during the November FIFA window.

The two international games will be played in Bloemfontein on November 15th and 18th respectively.

Likuena won the last fixture between the two southern African rivals courtesy of a Makara Ntaitsane’s last gasp winner during the 2025 COSAFA Tournament held in Bloemfontein.

The Flames, as the Malawi national team is affectionately known, are ranked 16 places above Likuena in the FIFA rankings as they occupy position 128 while Lesotho is on position 144.

Likuena will be returning to work since ending their 2026 World Cup Qualifiers on a high note with a 1-0 victory over Zimbabwe on 13th October in Polokwane.
