Africa-Press – Lesotho. National team Likuena started training sessions yesterday as they prepare for back-to-back African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sierra Leon and Nigeria tie.
Likuena’s first match will be played November 13, in Freetown against Sierra Leone, before Nigeria (Super Eagles) jet into Lesotho to clash with Likuena at Setsoto Stadium on November 17.
Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Communication Officer, Mikia Kalati, told Public Eye the team started their camp yesterday (Monday), without the ABSA Premiership trio of Motebang Sera, Tumelo Khutlang and T’soarelo Bereng since their clubs will be in action in South Africa this week.
They will join the team in Johannesburg ahead of the trip to Sierra Leone. “ABSA Premiership trio Motebang Sera, Tumelo Khutlang and T’soarelo Bereng had not joined the team yet, they will joining the team in Johannesburg ahead of the trip to Sierra Lion.
“Foreign-based players like Nkoto Masoabi and Motlomelo Mkwanazi joined the team on Monday this week.
