Africa-Press – Lesotho. Lille sealed a narrow victory against Real Madrid on matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Jonathan David converted a penalty kick in first-half stoppage time to help stun the Spanish giants at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Real Madrid are in 17th place with three points and Lille are 18th with three points.

Bayern Munich lost to Aston Villa 1-0 at Birmingham’s Villa Park as the goal came from Jhon Duran in the 79th minute.

With six points under their belt after two matches in the Champions League, Borussia Dortmund are the league leaders on goal difference ahead of Brest, Benfica, Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Juventus.
