Thato Masupha, AKA Master Peace returns with the sixth album called Ndikhokhele, a special release for his loyal fans.

This debut contains the narration of his music journey and the obstacles he encounters along the way.

It features a number of local, renowned artists, the likes of Khahliso Mphephoka, Majisto, Spinanzo, Nkosi and Matsemela. In order to spread his wings and reach the international market, Master Peace disclosed that he intends to launch the album in Botswana. He says he also wants to improve his fast-growing fan base in that country.

“I see a better market and a chance for important business deals in Botswana, therefore I want to seize the opportunities there. It has become a norm in the entertainment industry that people fan and support outsiders, I feel like a star out there and it is a different case in my own country where local music is not highly esteemed,” Master Peace highlighted.

He insisted that this is the project that may safe his career. Reflecting on his experience in Lesotho, he noted that there are emerging record labels in the country, picking Harambee Global Records as the hope for the industry, he however said he wants a different exposure given his experience with music.

Ndikhokhele is a collection of 11 songs, from which there is Lerato and the theme song, Ndikhokhele. The message depicted in the album centres around the power of forgiveness and the ability to thrive through the challenges. “It is a prayer for protection, I feel like I received too much favour and protection and therefore appeal for the everlasting relationship with God and my fans,” he revealed. The album is a blended collection of Kwaito tunes with a touch of Amapiano, it contains dedications to the fans and some people who played a role in his growth and supported him throughout his career.

Master Peace is ‘Matholoana, Thaba Bosiu resident and has his music footprints dating from as far as 2005. He has since recorded five albums, making Ndikhokhele his sixth. He is a product of Peace lovers music group which he joined in 2003.
