Africa-Press – Lesotho. To foster cordial relations between the media and the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA), MISA Lesotho will host the agency’s Representative Mr. John Kennedy Mosoti.
According to information communicated by MISA to its members, official dates expected to be at the end of January will duly be communicated following cancellation due to other unforeseen circumstances.
It is said that this session is designed to enhance closer relationship between UNFPA and members of the press to allow Mr. Mosoti to get acquainted with the media landscape in Lesotho and familiarise journalists with the agency’s core mandate, programmes and priority areas.
Members of the press, particularly MISA members who have registered to attend this session have strongly been urged to partake actively in this session so as to help deepen mutual understanding, identify future collaboration points, especially concerning reporting on population dynamics, sexual and reproductive health and gender equality.
