Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Ministry of Education and Training(MoET) concluded a two day Joint Educational Sector review(JESR) on Thursday aimed at advancing quality, inclusivity and innovation in Lesotho’s Educational System.
Chairperson of chairs of the National Assembly of Lesotho, Mr. Mokhothu Makhalanyane outlined key achievements and upcoming priorities that reflect a renewed national commitment to quality, inclusivity and innovation in education.
Mr. Makhalanyane also praised the Ministry of Education’s ongoing work to modernise teaching and learning through the three tier curriculum which integrates academic, vocational and technical training. He mentioned that this reform aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and employment opportunities ensuring that graduates are equipped with the practical skills needed in today’s job market.
He concluded his remarks with an inspiring vision for the future emphasising that the country must strive for an education system that produces thinkers, innovators and leaders.
