Africa-Press – Lesotho. Members of Parliament (MPs) have been urged to dedicate their time in serving the nation especially in these two remaining months of the year.
This was said by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mrs. Ts’epang Mosena when welcoming MPs after the independence break.
She said although the House could not proceed with business of the day on Monday due to failure to form a quorum as women Parliamentarians were attending a meeting, the House should clearly define some standing orders to strengthen attendance of members in the House.
She therefore expressed hope that MPs had time to rest, came back energized and ready to serve the nation.
Meanwhile the Sessional Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Monitoring Committee presented a report on site visits and public hearings on SDG7, tabled in the House on September 22.
