Nsingizini Hotspurs Complaint on Simba SC Eligibility

Africa-Press – Lesotho. Eswatini’s Nsingizini Hotspurs FC have officially written to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), questioning the eligibility of Simba SC’s technical team members during their CAF Champions League qualifiers.

In a letter addressed to CAF’s Competitions Division, Nsingizini allege that Simba fielded unqualified and improperly registered coaches in both legs of their tie, which the Tanzanian giants won 3-0 on aggregate.

The club specifically points to Head Coach Pantev Dimitar Nikolaev, claiming he does not possess the required qualifications to be on the bench for CAF inter-club matches. They also accuse Simba of registering different technical staff between the two fixtures, including individuals who, according to Nsingizini, are no longer part of Simba’s current setup.

Nsingizini argue that these actions constitute a breach of CAF regulations governing team officials and have urged the continental body to investigate the matter.

CAF is yet to issue a response.
