Africa-PressLesotho. One of the Lesotho Times Newspaper’s Fan Fest event organizers Ms Refiloe Mohlotsane says there is a lot of positivity to write home about from the event that took place at Setsoto Stadium Saturday night.

Mohlotsane comes from Plan A, a local events management company that organized the Lesotho Times newspaper event from “A to Z”. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Informative Arts & Lifestyle, Mohlotsane clarified that with the event, Lesotho times was celebrating a decade of existence with Basotho.

Although a decade was achieved last year, she said the event was scheduled to take place this year. Giving an overall analysis of the event as it happened she emphasized that the event was a success from logistics to the quality of performances on the night.

“Also bearing in mind that it was the first event of that magnitude to ever be held by Lesotho Times, it is with high confidence that I call it a success.

There’s less to complain about,” she said She went on to mention that over 500 Basotho were hired on the day to provide food and beverages in the stadium.

This, she said was quiet unique and commendable as more often than not small businesses are made to pay for stalls at such events. The event offered arguably one of the best entertainment by all standards with a fair mixture of local and international artistes.

The lineup was a star-studded one with South Africa’s finest; Nasty C, AKA, Kwesta, Ts’epo Ts’ola, Oliver Mtukudzi, Sho Madjozi, Lady Zamar and Trompies among others.

Local entertainment industry was boldly represented by the likes of Rapper Juvy, Famo Musician Together oa Butha-Buthe and Djs; Bootz, Counterforce, Mtsuzi to mention but a few.
