Africa-PressLesotho. Tholoana ea Lerato orphanage Manager Mr. Kuenahali Masupha says he is humbled by Vodacom Lesotho Foundation’s donation of food packages to the orphans citing that it demonstrates true love to the young ones and make them realize that in life, they are never alone.

He said this in an exclusive interview with the Informative Newspaper at the event where the mega telecommunications company; Vodacom Lesotho through Vodacom Lesotho Foundation, donated food parcels valued at M10, 000 to the orphanage.

Masupha maintained that the gifts were not an addition but were rather going to fill a big void at the orphanage as they really don’t find it easy to feed the 32 children kept at the orphanage.

He emphasized that apart from the Ministry of Social Development annual subvention which he said lasts them for about two months, they depend mainly on donations by good Samaritans who donate food parcels and clothes, just like Vodacom Lesotho has done through their foundation.

He emphasized that as much as the packages will help the orphans to have proper meal, but they will also make the children realize humanity and be aware that people out there love them and are with them in their hardships. He therefore thanked Vodacom Lesotho foundation for a positive contribution to the lives of the children. According to Ms.

Thato Mochone, Specialist, Communications and Vodacom Foundation, the food parcels were a kind donation from Vodacom Lesotho employees who donated money and food parcels to meet the needs of the 32 vulnerable children at the orphanage.

She said this was not the first time the foundation visited the orphanage as they have recently donated new winter uniforms, tracksuits and warm clothing back in June this year.

‘Our biggest pride is the ability to change the lives of others and empower people to transform their own lives.

We achieve this through our products and services, the work of the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation and through numerous initiatives under the Random Acts of Kindness Campaign” she noted.
