Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) meeting with officers from Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital (QMMH) could not proceed on Tuesday due to a court case between the duo.
This, after (QMMH) officers waited for about an hour for the meeting to proceed although all PAC members were unavailable.
However, the Committee Clerk later informed them that their meeting with PAC has been postponed until further notice due to a court case which is set to be heard in February next year.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency, PAC Chairperson Mrs. Machabana Lemphane-Letsie confirmed that all their meetings with QMMH officers have been postponed until the court case, which is set to be heard on February 17 is resolved.
Meanwhile QMMH Managing Director Dr. ‘Makhoase Ranyali and Deputy Managing Director Human Capital, Planning and Contracts Mrs. Thenjiwe Dlangamandla instituted a legal action against PAC after a warrant of arrest was issued against them directing that they be arrested and brought before the committee.
The High Court sitting as the Constitutional Court on Monday ruled that the application by the duo was urgent and arguments in the matter are expected to be heard on February 17, 2026.
