Africa-Press – Lesotho. Parties in a case in which four members of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) are charged with the murder of Police Constable Mokalekale Khetheng, have been ordered to file their heads of arguments by May 27 2024.
The directive was made after the defence closed its case in a trial within trial.
The defence led its evidence after the prosecution closed its case in which some police officers who were part of the investigation team into the matter testified. Each of the police officers who testified denied allegations that the accused were tortured during interrogations
