Africa-Press – Lesotho. Founded in 2017 by a 26-year-old Moloi Mabusela, Pawacom Technologies provides appliance maintenance services, electrical installation and Closed-Circuit Television
(CCTV) camera installation. Mabusela decided to take his passion for electricity further with the hope of learning more about the craft.
He went to Lerotholi Polytechnic (LP) studying towards a Diploma in Electrical Engineering while also pushing his business on the side. He said his friends had already partnered with Finite Lifestyle club and
discovering the benefits, they encouraged him to join the club. He believes that they saw potential in his business. Although he has just joined, Mabusela
is looking forward to the opportunities he will get from the club that will add value to his business. “Friends of mine that are already benefiting from Finite Lifestyle club encouraged me to
join for the benefit of my business, looking at the kind of services I provide. I made a decision to join, and I am looking forward to exposure, thus my
business growth,” narrates Mabusela in an interview with Informative Newspaper. Mabusela revealed that advertising his services online sometimes does not work for him.
Adding that he gets customers from remote areas who require services that require him to stay there until he is done. This pose a challenge when he is
not financially ready for temporary shelters. He explained that he aspires for a power supply permit, which will make things a lot easier for him. Another
challenge that he raised is that of customers’ support, saying credit is usually given to those big and well established companies. “When it comes to developing companies, people are always skeptical and would rather negotiate prices,”
he said and emphasized that there is still a long way to go with regard to local support. Mabusela believes that working harder in convincing people to
support developing Basotho businesses will eventually open doors for local enterprises. Pawacom Technologies offers 20% discount on installation and 10% discount on maintenance and repair to Finite Lifestyle Club members.
