Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Disaster Management Authority (DMA) on Friday warned the nation to cease their trips to places such as Mokhotlong, Thaba-Tseka and Semonkong as they are inaccessible.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Friday, the Disaster Management Authority Assistant Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Mahlape Koali said this is due to the snowfall in these areas on Thursday. Mrs. Koali however urged the nation to continue to tune in to the local radio stations for updates of the weather forecasts before traveling.
Meanwhile, the Lesotho Meteorological Services weather forecast for this weekend has revealed partly cloudy and cold to very cold conditions with chances of isolated rain showers and snow in the highlands.
