Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr. Kanono Ramashamole together with his deputy Ms.
Lineo Ramabele Smith visited Mekaling in Meriting to prepare for the upcoming commissioning of Base Transceiver Tower on Friday. In a short meeting with Heads of Departments, Mr.
Ramashamole said the Prime Minister, Mr. Samuel Ntsokoane Matekane will spearhead the event and pleaded with Majantja to welcome him with warm hands. In an interview with the Agency, Lesotho Communications Authority Chief Executive Officer, Mr.
Nizam Goolam said the event brings to completion the batch, which was launched in Liphiring, however saying they still have about 21 towers which need to be handed out to communities.
At this event, the Prime Minister is expected to present Christmas gifts to selected vulnerable groups and hand over stationery and other gifts to chiefs and Local Authorities, while the Ministry of Health will be offering integrated health services.
