In a vibrant show of appreciation, Oriel’s Mission, in partnership with the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, recognized outstanding local entrepreneurs and employees from street vendors to taxi drivers and business owners for their exceptional dedication to service excellence.
The ceremony, held on Tuesday, saw individuals and businesses awarded certificates of recognition for exceeding expectations and setting a new standard in customer care and commitment.
Awardees later shared a celebratory lunch, with a financial literacy and customer care workshop scheduled to follow on Wednesday.
Among the recognized individuals were: Monare Mokhele, Motlatsi Chaka, Monare Motsoko, Leboto Monyane, Tau Andries, ’Mamokete Ramakeoana, ’Mabereng Lenkoane, Thabiso Sekonyane, Kananelo Sekatle, Molati Mara, Thabiso Khalenyane, Pulane Makafane, ’Malits’eoane Leroba, ’Makabelo Matoetoe, ’Maphoka Komiti, ’Marelebohile Nkoro, Seeiso Hoosen, ’Malitlhare Sebilo, Thandiwe Cekwane, and Pulane Mohafa.
Recognized institutions included New Central Hotel, Mini House, and Qacha’s Nek Lowest Price Supermarket.
Founder and Director of Oriel’s Mission, Mr. Keketso Jonase, explained that while the organization initially focused on training people on entrepreneurship and providing financial literacy, it became clear that wasn’t enough.
