Africa-Press – Lesotho. Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Agents of Foreign Firms (FAFF) in Maseru on Tuesday.
Speaking at the signing, RSL Commissioner General Mrs. ’Mathabo Mokoko said the agreement marks a significant step towards unity and collaboration aimed at advancing the country’s economic priorities.
Mrs. Makoko noted that the integration of systems between the two institutions will enhance cross-border trade while contributing to improved public services in areas such as health, education and social support.
Mrs. Mokoko added that the partnership is also expected to strengthen transparency, compliance and job creation.
On behalf of FAFF, Public Relations Officer Mr. Thabo Qhesi said the MoU will facilitate smoother trade relations and support the development of proper regulatory frameworks to ease cross-border commerce.
