Africa-Press – Lesotho. A plane carrying a group of Lesotho’s politicians crashes in a field in Quthing. A few hours later, a farmer walks into a police station to report the tragic accident.

He says there were 22 people in the plane. But at the scene, the police find only two pilots with minor injuries. Stunned, the police turn to the farmer.

Policeman: Are these the only survivors? Farmer: Yes. I have already buried the 20 other guys. Policeman: But how did you know they were dead? Farmer: Some of them said they were alive but I buried them anyway.

Policeman: Why did you do such a cruel thing? Farmer: They were all politicians, so I didn’t believe a word they were saying. They are all liars. Muckraker would have done the same thing.

Just bury the liars as they scream for help for you never know if they are telling the truth. As a basic rule, always believe the opposite of what a politician says.

There is enough evidence to support this assumption. The politicians promised to create thousands of jobs but thousands ended up losing jobs under their watch.

They said they will eradicate corruption but the government money is still being stolen in truckloads. The economy they promised to revive is dead. A politician who claims to care for the people means he hates them but just wants their votes.

Where is Muckraker going with this? The story here is how our politicians have reacted to Sam Matekane’s political party. Nearly all of them say they are not scared of the party.

Serialong Qoo, of the Democratic Congress, said the Revolution for Prosperity is not a threat. His reason for that bold declaration, believe it or not, is that the DC has die-hard supporters.

The Alliance of Democrats’ Thuso Litjobo said Matekane’s party is not “a threat at all”. Other political parties, including those that don’t really matter and are led by outright clowns, have been queuing up to dismiss Matekane’s party as a minor irritant that will soon be over.

Muckraker will tell you, without a shred of doubt, that those politicians are pathetic liars. Matekane’s party is making them sweat and quack in their boots.

It is now a notorious fact that some senior politicians begged Matekane to stay out of active politics. Muckraker is reliably informed that some politicians soiled their pants when they heard that Matekane was forming a political party.

Theyarekakingandwillbekaking for months. So when they say they are not scared it’s not because they are brave or genuinely unworried. It just means they are lying, as they always do. The unadulterated truth is that baboons are running.
