Africa-Press – Lesotho. Lesotho Senior Female Netball Team will jet-in at Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town where they are going to participate at the Africa Netball Cup Tournament starting from October 18-22.
The draw pitted the Lesotho team with Zambia, South Africa and Malawi in the African Cup tournament. Africa Netball Cup is the Netball Tournament held annually by South Regional countries.
Lesotho Netball Association (LNA) Public Relations Officer Mamakebe Moshoeshoe told Public Eye in an interview today that this will be their second time participating in the tournament.
She said they last participated in the Africa Cup in 2009 where they failed to perform well. The were further curtailed by financial constraints to participate in other tournaments thereafter.
“This time around we are not going there to participate but we are going there to compete. We prepared for this tournament in advance,” Moshoeshoe noted.
