Africa-Press – Lesotho. Sesotho Hip-hop artist Senei Makhalanyane popularly known as Sneiman in the music industry, also a member of the local entertainment group Ts’epe Sethuoamajoe will, this Friday, release a new music video for his latest
hit single – ‘khilik’. Sneiman told Informative Arts&Lifestyle that this will be the second music video under Sethuoamajoe productions. The first video, ‘Shoe shine le Manothi’, was
released in 2018. The single, ‘Khilik’ was released on October 30. He signified that it is a celebratory song in which Sneiman and his cohorts celebrate after double crossing their business partners
in South Africa (SA). Again he said that ‘Khilik’ is a Sesotho interjection normally used when someone has done something extraordinary. Sneiman showed
that in this song he reveals his ability to outplay his enemies and that they are no match for him. The musician revealed that the video is the first episode of Sneiman
series which is going to be narrated through a series of music videos. He said it narrates Sneiman’s story from SA to Lesotho, demonstrating all the illegal
mining deals they did and all the conflicts they encountered. Also Sneiman showed that they were mining diamond like other unlawful miners in SA, then
disagreements evolved during the selling of diamonds because there were cheatings which let to conflicts between the two groups, but his group won, which is where the name ‘khilik’ emanates.
He said it expresses how his group felt after all the hardships they went through. “The music video will basically be about our celebration after the struggle we went through. It depicts strategies we utilized which assisted us throughout the whole dilemma, “ he added.
