Africa-Press – Lesotho. Artist Snei Makhalanyane, popularly known as Sneiman in the music industry has released his 6th single named ‘Ha bo jeloe’ featuring South African award winning artist Big Zulu.
In an interview with Informative Arts&Lifestyle, the Ha-Makhalanyane born musician Sneiman indicated that he started his music career in 2013 with Sotho-Hop.
He was hugely inspired by the “Lithuamajoe” movement. Sneiman said he noticed that lately people have interest in their own language and are showing efforts to
support local music. “I treasured singing in Sesotho because I perceived that most people will fully understand the message better in Sesotho,” he said.
“I was inspired to sing in Sesotho because I love my culture and I am able to
fully express my feelings better in my own language,” he said. He disclosed that he comes from a family of singers. ‘My mother is a good singer she used to
play music and teach me the lyrics and we would sing together while my father taught me how to play different types of music instruments,” he said. Since
joining the music industry Sneiman has released 5 singles. He announced that his debut album will be released in February 2021. He said his wish is to see his music selling
across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, currently it is found in Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho and internationally in countries like China, United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA), Australia, Austria through online platforms.
