Africa-Press – Lesotho. Tshepang Teba, a well-known Model and Presenter has launched a new television show – Front Row (FR), which will be broadcasted on digital platforms. Supported by DSTV Pere
(Indoor studio), FR was founded in October 2020 and shot its first episode on
October 18th 2020. Speaking at the launch, Teba said the purpose of the show is to inform, inspire and give the audience the FRONT ROW seat in the journey of trailblazers in different career paths.
“In this era of Covid-19, the best way to reach the audience is through digital
platforms, hence the idea of a TV show,” he said. Teba noted that individuals often feel like achieving a certain dream is farfetched and realistically they
do not know of the first step that a certain trailblazer might have taken to be where they are. “The FRONT ROW TV show brings you that conversation and is
going to realistically go to their work area) to cover what they do,” he noted. He extended that their target audience is all age groups. “Young audience who get insightful career guidance
for a growing individual who aspires to pursue certain career that might be covered in the episodes. Middle age group get mentored on relevant topics such
as starting a business and Upper age group on how to start or grow a similar career,” Teba said. He informed that the show will broadcast on social media while they are finalising negotiations with the national
television. “It will broadcast through YouTube; Front Row Lesotho, Facebook; Front Row Lesotho, Instagram; @frontrowls1 and Twitter; @frontrowls. Teba mentioned
that the first episode will be published on April 9th Friday and the exact time of publication will be communicated on social media platforms mentioned above.
For his part Pere DSTV Agency General Manager Khotso Molapo said as a Basotho owned business, they support and empower youth. He stated that they are very happy to be part of
this initiative. “We hope to see its fruitful growth, we have sponsored several initiatives like art. We are committed to empowering and supporting as we believe the youth is the future of the country,” Molapo stated.
