Africa-Press – Lesotho. Thaba Tseka is experiencing cold below-average maximum temperatures, resulting in cold mornings and nights. This morning, the maximum temperature recorded was 1 °C. This happens as the country is in the midst of winter, which has seen several snowfalls, taking place every Thursday.
The Lesotho Meteorological Services (LMS) has issued warnings of the possibility of potential snowfall in some high-altitude areas on Friday (July 04), with very cold temperatures expected. Reports indicated that icy roads in the Matsóoana plateau kept some travellers stranded overnight, unable to drive.
