Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Brothers for love Fund (BLF) has celebrated its tenth anniversary on 16 May at St. Paul’s Square. Cicilia, Maqhaka. The celebration concluded at the Fruit Fruit Orphanage on 17 May where needy children and orphans were given gifts of food and clothing as well as lunch with the founder of BLF.

The founder of the Brothers for love Foundation, Mr Lebohang Mohapi explained that the Fund was established in 2010 and they are celebrating the tenth anniversary of the founding of the organization, which has been successful in helping people in need and orphans.

He said they felt it was important to celebrate those years because they were still successfully transforming the lives of needy and vulnerable children.

Mohapi also said that the fund was established in Khubelu village in Mokhotlong district, and its main purpose was to help needy children and orphans in order to make a difference in their lives as a whole.

Continuing his story, Mohapi pointed out that the organization was formed after realizing that some children come from vulnerable families, so that some of them do not even know what the ten Maloti money looks like.

, said that it was a shock to them, and they came up with a plan to change the lives of such children. He also said that they were inspired by the difficult growth they undertook and the help of well-meaning people, who made them successful in life.

“Since the organization was formed we have helped 836 orphans and single parents across the country, so that their lives can be changed so that they can have their own home.

and a brighter future. ” At the BFL’s 10th anniversary celebrations, Mohapi said they donated food and clothing packages to 116 children. and food as well as traders in their diversity.

He also points out a number of achievements during the ten years since the fund was established which includes some of their alumni successfully completing their studies at the University level, and have already found employment and have they continue to help other children in the home.

“They have also made a difference to pastoralists by teaching them to read and write, providing them with health services, and providing condoms and toiletries to enhance their health,” Mohapi explained.

He also indicated that the BLF will also play a key role in changing the lives of pastoralists living in Ha-Lejone, where 52 pastoralists and older persons will be provided with blankets and food parcels on 30 to 31 May 2020.
