Africa-Press – Lesotho. The organizers of the Miss Culture Lesotho pageant distributed this year’s prize money to the winners to give them a boost last Friday. They are the three virgins who have been allocated M12 000, M6 000 and M3 000 respectively.
Speaking at the event, the President of Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) Dr. Retšelitsoe Nko said nationalism is a major factor in the promotion and promotion of tourism.
He said the LTDC recognizes and appreciates the role of the bride and groom in tourism and national affairs in the country. Dr. Nko explained that this month the July LTDC will be celebrating and marking the Basotho new year beginning in August, with several festivals and celebrations.

Miss Culture Lesotho Director Obrey Silinyana explained that he loved Lesotho and started working with it in 2018 and said they were working on organizing the King Moshoeshoe Film Festival among others.

He also explained that the Miss Culture Lesotho pageant pageant was one of the organizers. He thanked the contestants who won the competition this year, and who will therefore be rewarded with a cash prize.

Silinyana appealed to the Basotho community to contribute whatever they can, a young woman who will be representing Lesotho at this year’s Miss Culture International pageant, to be held in Durban in October.

The winner of the second (Second Princess) Miss Miss International International pageant last year, Ms Reatile Molefe thanked the Basotho people for their support and appealed to the government and Basotho in general support the cause of beauty as it helps girls to be confident, aware of their nationality and inform the international community about Basotho nationalism.

The winner of the first school (Miss Culture 2022) Ms Thabelo Ngatane thanked me for the paperwork and gave a detailed account of her trip until she left school. Ngatane said it was not an easy journey, and during this trip he learned co-operation and its importance, learning personality and humility.
Ngatane appealed to the government, business people and the Basotho community to provide financial and all-inclusive assistance to successful athletes in international competitions.
On behalf of the Government of Lesotho, appearing in the Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture, the Minister of Culture, Mr Mapamela Khanyela, said the doors of the Cultural Office were open to assist young women, urging them not to suffer while the department was still in operation. He thanked the girls for the paperwork and thanked the organizers of the Miss Culture Lesotho pageant.
