Africa-Press – Lesotho. Two men from Thifa, Khotsofalang Molupe (27) and Thabo Masilo (42), remain in custody after failing to pay a bail deposit of M500 each, following their appearance before the Qacha’s Nek Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

The pair face robbery charges for allegedly assaulting Mohato Lekhetho with sticks and stones before stealing his three chickens — a red cock, a white cock and a brown hen with black spots with an estimated total value of M700.

The incident reportedly occurred on June 23, 2025, at Thifa.
