Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Ministry of Public Works and Transport will issue permits to allow movement and transportation of essential goods and services during the current 14 days of lockdown.
In a statement the ministry said F permits will be issued to cars of individuals who import essentials, including medication and food from South Africa to Lesotho, adding renewals of different permits such as F permits will only apply to those particular cars that transport essentials.
The ministry said a grace period will be granted to people whose driving permits and documents have expired during lockdown because such services are currently not offered under lockdown regulations. Basotho travel from district to district will be required to have a permit.
