Africa-Press – Lesotho. Authorities at Lerotholi Polytechnic have issued a statement announcing two of the college’s students have been missing since Thursday, February 18.
They reportedly went missing after they had gone to Mohokare River for some ritual. College authorities said their parents have been informed and the police are investigating the disappearance.
In recent years Fokothi has been notorious for abuse of freshers in the name of I informal college rituals to “initiate” new students to the college. Lives have been lost through this practice whose details remain closely guarded.
