Africa-Press – Lesotho. Vandalism of solar cables which pumps ground water has left Ha-Lapisi and Ha-Ranthiba in Lits’ilong people exposed to thirst.

This was confirmed by Lits’ilong Electoral Division (ED) Community Councillor Mr. Khotso Masupha during an interview with LENA on Thursday.

Mr. Masupha said Ha-Lapisi and Ha-Ranthiba rely heavily on ground water, but the ongoing problem of thieves stealing the solar cables and pumps has left them in a terrible water scarcity situation.
