Africa-Press – Lesotho. The crisis in Lesotho was at the top of the agenda at the Southern African Development Community’s (SADC’s) summit in Swaziland from 30 – 31 August. The meeting also focused on other issues troubling the region including deteriorating access to water and energy supply, and food insecurity.
This View on Africa is presented by Dimpho Motsamai, a Senior Researcher at the ISS. She will discuss the summit’s key outcomes including decisions on Lesotho’s progress with constitutional, public and security sector reforms, SADC’s roadmap on Madagascar, and the status of the national dialogue in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
