Africa-Press – Lesotho. Someone should ask the LCD members what they are smoking. Not because they keep supporting a party whose members cannot fill a wheelbarrow. That the LCD is dead as a dodo is a fact known even to those with a pea-sized brain.
The party is finished. Muckraker will cut her nose off if the party wins more than ten seats in the next election. The inquiry about what toxic things they are sniffing is therefore not about their persistence in supporting a political carcass.
Rather it should be about their madness this week. They picketed at Justice Moseneke’s meeting with politicians on Wednesday. Some of them are reported to have stormed the meeting.
Muckraker watched in horror as the zealots waved placards. “Hands off Metsing”. “Respect SADC agreement and bring back Metsing”. “No Metsing, no reforms”.
“Ha re likhutsana”. All of which was meant to force Moseneke to bring their leader Mothetjoa Metsing back home.
And who has chased Metsing from Lesotho? No one! Who has barred him from returning home? No one! Metsing left Lesotho on his own. He was running away from the treason charges he is facing with Mochoboroane.
Mochoboroane has remained to face the charges and he is still a minister. LCD members have a penchant for creating drama out of nothing. You can see from their inane press conference about everything.
Sometimes they even forget that their press conferences are condemning the very things that they created and did when they were in government. Listening to them, you would think Metsing is the only politician who has been in exile.
They talk as if he is some political doyen being hounded out of the country for his political view. They must dilute whatever poison they are drinking. If it’s matekoane they should double the amount of paper and make the joint shorter.
