Sen. Prince Moye Donates Fuel to C.B. Dunbar Hospital

Africa-Press – Liberia. In a timely intervention aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery in Bong County, Senator Prince Kermue Moye, accompanied by his wife, Madam Nancy Moye, has donated a drum of fuel to the C.B. Dunbar Comprehensive Hospital to help stabilize electricity supply at the vital health facility.

The donation comes at a critical time when the hospital continues to rely heavily on generator-powered electricity to sustain lifesaving medical services, including surgeries, laboratory diagnostics, emergency care, and the storage of essential medicines. Frequent power disruptions have long posed challenges to both patients and health workers at the facility.

Presenting the fuel on February 7, 2026, Senator Moye emphasized that access to reliable electricity is directly linked to quality healthcare delivery. He said the donation reflects his commitment to supporting the health sector and ensuring that medical professionals are empowered to save lives without unnecessary obstacles.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the hospital, Administrator Enoch Kermue Darwolo Morris expressed profound gratitude to the senator and his wife, describing the gesture as both practical and impactful. He noted that the contribution will immediately enhance the hospital’s ability to maintain uninterrupted power, especially in critical care units.

Mr. Morris further praised Senator Moye for his consistent support of C.B. Dunbar Hospital, particularly during moments of urgent need. According to him, such interventions demonstrate responsive leadership and genuine concern for the well-being of Bong County residents.

He assured the public that the donated fuel will be used strictly for its intended purpose: powering the hospital’s generator and sustaining electricity for uninterrupted patient care. He added that accountability measures are in place to ensure the proper utilization of the donation.

C.B. Dunbar Comprehensive Hospital serves as one of Bong County’s major referral and teaching health facilities, receiving patients from across the county and neighboring regions. Its role in the healthcare system makes reliable electricity a necessity, not a luxury.

The fuel donation from Senator Moye and his wife has been widely welcomed by hospital staff and patients, who see it as a meaningful step toward improving healthcare services. For many residents, the act stands as a reminder that responsive leadership can make a tangible difference in people’s daily lives.
