Africa-Press – Liberia. As the National Election Commission (NEC) announces a by-election in District Number Five, educator and trained agriculturalist Bories B. Barlea has declared his candidacy for the upcoming election.

Barlea refers to himself as the ideal candidate to succeed former District Number Five Representative Samuel Kogar, who has transitioned to the Senate following his election triggered by the passing of Senator Prince Yormie Johnson. With a background in education and agriculture, Barlea believes he brings a unique perspective that can benefit the district.

In an interview, Barlea outlined his key priorities if elected.
