Africa-Press – Liberia. A Strong critic of former Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Henry P. Costa has now proven to the world that the Sirleaf family and him are no longer friends.
Mr. Costa, who is the Chairperson of the Council of Patriot (COP) recently on his Facebook page posted the dress code of Robert Sirleaf, the son of former president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf at his brother’s funeral.
Following the Costa post regarding Robert’s dress code, some of his followers criticized the COP Chairman for not been in sympathy with the Sirleaf’s family.
In his official response to those who have criticized him for such an attitude against the Sirleaf family, Costa indicated, “A short while ago ,I did a post about Ellen’s criminal son, Robert Sirleaf dress code at his brother’s funeral today and some people are accusing me of being insensitive towards the family.’’
The provocative critic of former President and her children said he doesn’t have any sympathy for former President Sirleaf and her family.
“I don’t have any sympathy for Ellen and her family,”he noted.
According to him, the former Liberian President allegedly helped to murder hundreds of thousands of Liberians, stressing that some of those who were allegedly murdered family members are his.
Mr. Costa furthered that Robert Sirleaf whose dress code has raised the debate allegedly looted the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL) and his mother-former President Sirleaf publicly took responsibility for such action against the Liberian People.
Costa, a strong supporter of former Vice President, Joseph Boakai 2023 presidential bid said Mr. Sirleaf and his mother are allegedly working unceasingly to undermine Joe Boakai bid in the upcoming 2023 elections.
“They are my enemies because they are enemies of Liberia,” he said.
Moreover, Costa said at no time that the former Liberian President told him sorry for her alleged role played in the bloody 14 years civil war that destroyed lives and properties.
“So I haven’t forgiven her and definitely not forgotten her evil deeds, be sentimental all you want I don’t care,”he said.
Costa who is also a critic of President George Weah said during the presidency of madam Sirleaf she allegedly tried to destroy his life, stressing that he was jailed twice on charges over which he indicated that he defeated her in court.
He furthered that the government under the leadership of former president Sirleaf shut down his radio station and even alleged that the former president an assassination attempt on his life was.
Costa alleged that the Sirleaf led government murdered Harry Greaves in cold blood.
But a Liberian Educator, David Taigbailee said the attitude that was displayed by Henry Costa was totally out of politics.
According to Mr. Taigbailee Liberians are kind people who empathies with everyone, especially during their bereavement.
