Gilat Telecom, a global satellite services provider, has announced plans for a significant expansion of a Tier-1 cellular networkcapacity and reach across Africa using Novelsat advanced satellite modem technology. The initiative aims to boost high-speed connectivity for both existing and new locations across the continent.
Gilat Telecom will utilise Novelsat high-capacity SCPC modems to extend satellite coverage to additional areas while increasing the overall network capacity. This will ensure faster, more robust broadband services. Novelsat modem technology, featuring its NS4 bandwidth-efficient waveform and DUET bandwidth reuse technology, is designed to deliver top-tier transmission speeds, maximum spectral efficiency, and high resilience.
