Africa-Press – Liberia. The final four of the 2025 Bettomax Champions Cup have been confirmed, with Heaven Eleven, Global Pharma, Bea Mountain, and Freeport FC booking their places in the semifinals following an exciting group stage.
The inaugural edition of the tournament, which started on August 23 and will conclude on September 7, is part of a three-year partnership with the Liberia Football Association. The competition features the top eight teams from the First Division League at the end of every season and is scheduled to be held at the start of every league season. Clubs are also competing for a cash prize of $15,000 for the winner.
Global Pharma topped Group B with seven points, scoring four goals and conceding just one. The Bushrod Island–based club, currently in the process of a name change to Borough FC, began their campaign with a comfortable 2–0 win over Discoveries FC, followed by a 1–0 victory against Watanga FC. They ended the group stage with a 1–1 draw in the highly anticipated Bushrod Derby against Freeport FC, securing top spot in the group.
Freeport FC also advanced from Group B, finishing second with five points from one win and two draws. Their resilience ensured they remained in contention for the Champions Cup trophy.

Clubs that failed to reach the semifinals include Discoveries FC and Watanga FC.
