Africa-Press – Liberia. Howe, a young lawyer by profession, is praised for his leadership, legal expertise, and commitment to advancing football in Liberia.
Joseph Yado Howe, Vice President of Paynesville Football Club (PFC), is emerging as a strong candidate for a position on the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Executive Committee, with growing support from players, club executives, and football stakeholders.

Howe, a young lawyer by profession, is praised for his leadership, legal expertise, and commitment to advancing football in Liberia.

His experience in club management, particularly his role in guiding Paynesville FC to continental success in CAF Club Competitions, has earned him respect within the football community.

Howe’s career in football administration began with his time as Secretary General for Exodus Football Club, where he played a key role in leading the club to the LFA 2nd Division Championship and subsequent promotion to the top-tier league.

His supporters argue that Howe’s inclusion on the LFA Executive Committee would bring stronger governance and strategic planning to Liberian football, benefiting player welfare and advancing the sport in the country.

Though Howe has not yet officially declared his candidacy, he expressed gratitude for the support he has received. “Football has always been my passion, and my focus remains on contributing to its growth in Liberia,” Howe said, adding that any decision regarding his candidacy would be made in consultation with Paynesville FC.
