Africa-Press – Liberia. Mr. Aaron Zuo a Liberian Plumber base in the US makes his earnings by doing one of the dirtiest job, but that doesn’t stop him from lending helping hands to others especially those of his native Nimba County in areas of health and education.
For him giving back to the needed is a hobbit and does it with no string attached. He said, his many donations and assistance has no political undertone. “I don’t intent to run for any political office I am a professional plumber who enjoys what I do.”
He is a renowned Liberian professional and entrepreneur. He is the CEO of ‘Menwon Plumbing Drain Service LLC of Massachusetts. For him, is desire is to continuously help promote quality education in Liberia and call on all Liberians including those in the country and the diaspora to prioritize human capacity development.
Mr. Zuo a native of Nimba County, is at the moment the only Licensed Liberian Professional Plumber trained in the State of Massachusetts United States. He performs his profession in engineering coding in plumbing which is the foundation for Infrastructure development and water pollution and health hazard control.
After many years as a journeyman at Roto Rooter Plumbing and Drain Services, he established the Menwon Plumbing and Drain Service in 2019. The company has fast emerged as a top rated firm on the Better Business Bureau (BBB), YELP, Google, and others credible evaluation boards.
He calls on Liberians around the world to pursue education in different fields and compete with other nationals. “I can look back and only reflect on the challenge of integrating into a competitive US society some years back. I was just from the refugee camp in the Ivory Coast. Some of the teachers could barely understand my English well. But I did not give in to that. I pursue my dream and today I am a top CEO providing services and jobs too.”
He emphasized the importance of helping because most people in Liberia have been in a web of poverty and some major help will be needed to change the situation.
Mr. Zuo has been involved with humanitarian works since his move to the US. In little over a decade he mostly focused on Education and Health assistance. He pledged that he and his wife ( Rose Zuo) have placed that as a corporate responsibility for their company. He has increased the capacity of his target group and his recent donation of school and non-school material covers 10 clinics.
He said “I am doing this to encourage our brothers and sisters with the capacity to avoid decisive politics and just help provide these basic necessities in our community. We have to because things are getting embarrassingly difficult. Helping people gain education is a major step in getting out of poverty”.
Clinics on the list of beneficiaries include; Beo Yoolah,. Kpiahplay, Gbei Vonwea, Vayenglay, Karnplay, Give Them Hope, Duoplay Loguatuo and Younlay SCHOOL SELECTED are located in Twah-river, Garplay Inland School, Kpiahplay Inland School, Beo Yoolah Inland School, Kpiahplay Inland School, Kargou Trust Christian Academy Garplay, Vayenglay public school and deeper light School.
