Africa-Press – Liberia. The investigation, led by the Ministry of Labor over the weekend, uncovered startling evidence that some workers have been paying NASSCORP fees for months, yet they do not appear in the official NASSCORP records.
In a fiery condemnation, Representative Thomas Alexander Goshua of Grand Bassa Electoral District #5 has sharply criticized Equatorial Palm Oil Company (EPO) for its alleged mistreatment of workers and failure to remit National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) Withholding Taxes.
Speaking during a recent interview, Goshua made it clear that the Ministry of Labor is already investigating the claims, which include allegations that EPO collected but never remitted taxes owed to NASSCORP.
“Documents from NASSCORP have confirmed that many of those complaining are not even listed, despite the company allegedly collecting the withholding fees from their wages,” Goshua revealed.
He emphasized his frustration, stating, “I have told the Ministry of Labor that I am not taking this lightly. EPO has been violating the rights of our people for far too long, and this is their last boss stop.”

As the investigation continues, Goshua has vowed to ensure that no stone is left unturned in holding Equatorial Palm Oil accountable for its alleged misconduct.
