Tebeh FC President Trokon N. Roberts has declared the club’s ambition to rise to Liberia’s top football division and compete in continental tournaments such as the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
Speaking to FrontPage Africa, Roberts praised the club’s performance in the ongoing 2024/2025 Liberia Football Association (LFA) third division playoffs. Tebeh FC advanced to the round of 16 after defeating Sadayah FC 4-1 away and 5-1 at home in the round of 32.
The team continued its strong form with a 2-1 first-leg victory over Young ADDIDAS FC on May 4 at Tusa Field in Gainesville, Montserrado County. The return leg is scheduled for today at the SKD Sports Complex practice pitch.
Roberts credited the team’s success to the leadership of head coach Aloysius Glassco, the technical staff, and the commitment of the players. He noted that this is Tebeh FC’s first season in the LFA third division, having recently won the LFA Sinkor Sub-Committee league.
He described the club’s journey so far as a “significant milestone” and emphasized the need for continued discipline and improvement.
“Our goal is to reach the top tier of Liberian football and represent the country at the highest level,” Roberts stated.
Beyond performance, he highlighted the academy’s commitment to player welfare, including healthcare and academic support. He also thanked parents for encouraging their children and urged continued support as the players chase professional dreams.
