Africa-Press – Liberia. In a significant move to ease the financial burden on parents and promote quality education, World Hope International, a faith-based organization, made a generous donation of educational materials to the Larry Marshall Memorial Wesleyan School System on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

This initiative aims to bolster the learning environment and provide much needed resources to students and educators alike.

The donation included a wide variety of essential school supplies such as textbooks, pencils, geometric sets, calculators, erasers, stationery, box files, and daily exercise books, among other items.

These materials were handed over to both students and the school’s administration at the Blockpad Campus, underscoring the organization’s commitment to supporting education in underserved communities.

The Child Sponsorship Manager of World Hope International, Josen Fahn Jr.,

explained that this donation is part of an ongoing effort to expand access to quality education in Montserrado and Bomi Counties.

“Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow,” he emphasized, noting that World Hope International has partnered with three faith-based schools for over five years to provide such support. The Larry Marshall Memorial Wesleyan School System in Blockpad,

Todee District, Wesleyan Foundation School in Barnerville, Montserrado County and the Alfred Brown Memorial Wesleyan Institute in Golodee, Bomi County are the key beneficiaries of the organization’s child sponsorship programs.

Mr. Fahn highlighted how these materials will significantly enhance both teaching and learning processes.

He encouraged the students and school staff to use the materials diligently for their intended educational purpose to maximize their impact.

Receiving the donation on behalf of Larry Marshall Memorial Wesleyan School, Jessie Bondo, expressed heartfelt gratitude.

He described the donation as a tremendous boost that will enrich the educational experience for students across morning and afternoon sessions.

“This support will not only facilitate better learning but also foster a more engaging and interactive classroom environment,” he said.

Mr. Bondo reflected on the positive relationship with World Hope International over the past five years, noting a dramatic increase in enrollment.

The school now serves children from more than six communities within Todee Statutory District, an indicator of growing trust and the pressing demand for accessible education in the area.

This collaboration between World Hope International and the Larry Marshall Memorial Wesleyan School System exemplifies how strong partnerships can bring hope and tangible resources to communities in need.

It is a hopeful step toward bridging education gaps and empowering young learners to achieve their full potential.
